Autumnal in July

It’s not only childhood summers that last the longest, but it’s also true on TV. Have you noticed that TV series often have a certain knack for unfolding in good weather, in the summer? Not always, of course; there are special Christmas episodes and so on. And they sometimes film on rainy days, but those usually coincide with a character going through a tough or difficult period. So it might not be a coincidence that when rain and gloom arrive, we associate it with melancholy, back to school and work, the end of the fun. But trust me, rain isn’t that bad! Rain makes things grow, and after rain comes the sun, as we know. Are you old and enjoy jumping in puddles? Go ahead! It’s loads of fun, every kid knows that. Put on your boots and stroll over to the nearest puddle, jump in! There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes, as cheerful preschool teachers say!
